AHH! I have to have one!!
Brian has had it in his head for a while now that we should have babies soon after we get married. I was the one who has been pretty adamant about waiting a few years to have time to ourselves. His point is in relation to age and the fact that he would like to have kids before he turns 30. It must run in his family because the first time we saw his parents after our engagement his dad asked “so when will we get the grandkids?!”.
Lately, the more we talk about it, the more I’m convinced that I don’t want to wait as long as I thought. After spending the weekend with Kristi and Karly (shoutout!) and witnessing firsthand the joy they have because of their kids, I am pretty set on not having a long turnaround on this whole process. I realize that this will “change everything”, but I also realize that it wouldn’t be a negative change by any means.
It’s a scary, yet exciting thought to have in our minds, and hopefully our lives guide us towards the right decision at the right time.
The only cure for this fever is more cowbell?
